How We Vet and Verify

Our thorough freelancer screening process ensures we get the best. As creative professionals and marketers ourselves, we seek proven experts who share our passion and drive. We only accept freelancers into the network who we’d want to work with and learn from ourselves.

STEP 1

Information Request: Upon receiving a freelancer's registration through our portal, we will request additional information on skills and experience. We will review the freelancer's LinkedIn profile as the first layer of verification. Please ensure your LinkedIn profile is up to date for this purpose.

STEP 2

In-depth Skill Review: We review each freelance professional experience, work samples or portfolio, and referrals or testimonials from past employers or clients submitted by the freelancer in Step 1. Please take your time to answer the questions as thoroughly and as detailed as possible so we can assess your application fairly, befitting your skills and experiences. If necessary, we will request the freelancer to complete a skill-specific assessment.

STEP 3

Video Interview: Our final layer of screening is a video interview that assesses communication skills, critical thinking, and professionalism. If all of the steps and criteria are met, the freelance professional join our MARQETR talent network.
